Anthony Michel
Professor Emeritus
Ph.D., Marquette University, 1968
Research Interests: Circuit and system theory, large-scale systems.
Anthony N. Michel conducts research in qualitative analysis of dynamical systems with an emphasis on stability theory of nonlinear dynamical systems. His recent work has focused on hybrid dynamical systems and discrete-event systems (e.g., switched systems, systems with impulses, and sampled data systems), large scale dynamical systems, robust stability, and systems with saturation nonlinearities. General areas of applications of this work include control systems, circuits, artificial neural networks, power systems and mechanics.
