Lei Liu
Research Assistant Professor
Professor Liu is currently working in AD&T (Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics) on the TeraHertz project2007. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA and his M.S. from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China. His research interests span the areas of wireless/microwave, millimeterwave, terahertz (THz) circuits and systems, antennas, quasi-optics, novel microwave materials and devices, superconducting lectronics, and microfabrication and processing. His specific interest is to apply the above techniques in THz signal mixing and imaging, direct detection, THz signal generation, THz components and systems, and THz applications.
