Susan Fullerton
Center for Nano Science and Technology (NDnano)
Ph.D. The Pennsylvania State University, 2009
Research Interests: Assembling polymer-based nanostructures for energy harvesting. Investigating the molecular-level structure and mobility of polymer-based nanomaterials using neutron scattering.
Dr. Susan Fullerton (Shirey) joined NDnano in Fall 2009 after completing her Ph.D. at Penn State University in Chemical Engineering. Susan's dissertation was entitled "A unified approach to understanding conductivity enhancement in nanoparticle-filled solid polymer electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries." She conducted a portion of her research at the NIST Center for Neutron Research in Gaithersburg, MD.
