The Schlafly Electronic Circuits Laboratory is a hands-on learning environment for Introduction to Electrical Engineering, Electronics I, and Electronics II. Through the generosity of Notre Dame Electrical Engineer Hub Schlafly and Leona Schlafly, an endowment for this laboratory was established in 2001 which ensures that EE undergrads will have state of the art facilities for learning.
Hub Schlafly's remarkable career
Dr. Fay is the Director of the Notre Dame Nanofabrication facility (NDNF). His own work focuses on research in semiconductor fabrication for microwave devices.
"Having a complete nano fab lab here at ND means we can work a wide range of problems in nano and microelectronics. It benefits everyone, from undergrads to postdocs, and gives ND an lead in cutting edge research."
